MARK MCLEOD

Jon Burgerman -

John Burgerman studied art foundation in Bournville, Birmingham and then Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University.

His work is hand-drawn characters. He said, "Even though it's often scanned into the computer I don't want it looking too clean and 'photoshopped'." The characters are often linked together in one seemingly connected line.

His influences range from art shows to computer games, Saturday morning cartoons, and adverts to sweet wrappers and root vegetables.

This artist seems to portray my typical taste in art. Creative, new, and fresh but still a hit of reflection in it... Love it.

Even though some people may not understand what this artwork is, I think its great. It gives a lot of shapes and bright colors in this piece. Its unique :]

I absolutely love this artwork. I love the bright colors. Although it just looks like its just a bunch of shapes, if you look closely they all have eyes, mouths, and bodies. I think it is creative and very different.

I really love this piece. The use of bright colors are amazing. They really make the work pop out at you and it seems like it is saying "look at me."

Ok, I'll be the first one to say that I DON'T like it. Just looks like he saw way too many cartoons and had a sugar high. w00tage for my own opinion.
